Issues With Some Kingston HyperX Memory

Hey Guys,

 

   Just thought I would post this as I have observed an issue with my memory lately. As you can see in the File I attached, my memory, though it should be at 1333mhz is running at 667mhz. I have updated motherboard drivers but it is still showing at the wrong frequency. Any help is appreciated.

It is showing the correct frequency, you just have to double that number that you get, and you will have 1333Mhz.

Are you saying that it should boost up to that frequency when it needs it? Also I forgot to mention that I have three stick of 4gb's if that means anything.

No, All I'm saying is that it is displaying the correct numbers, DDR - Double Data Rate - so you have to double that 666.6 number in order to get what your memory is actually running at.

Read up on DDR memory and/or watch the techquickie.
