h100i screw question

When I bought my h100i like one year ago the screws that came with it didn't fit to mount the radiator to the top of the case. Instead I had to use these other screws that I found lying around but the screw heads are very large and flat + they kinda stick up a little bit so I had to put rubber washers underneath. Yeah I know sounds ghetto but it worked :P. My question is what sized screws or what type I should get for the most incognito screw heads. Keep in mind this is on a fractal R4 so there is no compartment for the radiator so the screws look ugly on the top if they arent the right kind. 

 

I know nothing about screws so maybe you guys can tell me what to ask for at the local hardware store

or do I need washers or something underneath the screw heads?
