Need help. WHat makes a folding pc a folding pc and what is bare minimum for a hobby thing? CHepest builds please? Thanks

A CPU with a good/decent Cooler

Don't even regard the GPU unless it's a 980 or Titan X. Spend all your money on the CPU and cooler.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel


After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

It is both. The CPU WUs are much faster unless you but you need have an AMZING GPU

OP you need a E5 2699 v3 and a Stock Cooler and you'll be good ;3

But yea you could get a Pentium G3258 and a EVO 212

HAHAHA get dual E5 2699 on a dual LGA 2011 board I think right?

Actually, not completely true. The work units are faster on the CPU's becasue the units are smaller. They give the GPU bigger units. A GTX 750ti has 640 cuda cores. A pentium has 2.

Cpu: Q6600

RAM: 6gb ddr2 667 mhz

mobo: Foxconn g33m

Cheap old/ low capacity hdd or small ssd

I think it'll do more harm than good if you fold with hardware that has such low performance per watt. Maybe use it if you need a heater? lol..
