RAM usage

Go to solution Solved by Fluffinator,

I was gonna upgrade later but looks like I have no choice now. I was thinking something wrong with the RAM sticks or the MB

I always maxed out 8gbs and had to upgrade too.. I mean if you wanna continue to do what your doing with no compromises you'll sorta have too.

I noticed my PC was really slow and when I want to Task manager I saw my RAM usage 97% but that time I was running origin, GOG downloadable and Chrome with 4 tabs. Did anybody had the same issue before and do I need to buy more RAM?

My specs-

I7 4790K 4Ghz,

Corsair Vengeance 2133 Mhz 8 gigs,

EVGA GTX 980 superclocked,

Corsair HX1000I power supply

64 gigabyte Samsung SSD,

60 gigabyte Corsair force SSD

1tb WD harddrive

Yeah more RAM is not a bad idea in this case, as headroom is not a bad thing, but that is a little high. Try scanning for malware and other crap like that

I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

Just stop using Google Chrome.  Its a RAM hog.  Use Mozilla Firefox.  Zero RAM problems when heavily multitasking and I also only have 8GB.
