Should I use GPU Stress Tests?

I have a MSI GTX 970 Gaming 3g and i would like to know is it safe to use Kombustor or Furmak?

I heard they can damage your card or change the safety mesures,is it true?

I have used both and highest temp was 73 degrees with 75% fan speed.I used them like 5-6 times and ran them about 10-15 minutes.

Has it damaged my card or something?

Relax, furmark/kombustor aren't as dangerous as everyone makes them out to be.

 

Just don't run them for hours on end like some people like to do and you'll never have an issue.

They are fine to use just have GPU-z open to monitor temp and stop and reduce

Your overclock if temps get to high or turn up the funs
