So I have it set to after 5 minutes to power itself off as it is pretty much the loudest thing in my system during idle and I sometimes don't use the HDD for 30-60 minutes.

All the time it turns off then turns itself on again after 1-2 minutes even though no programs open have been set to access my HDD or are launched from my HDD.

Things might still be using the drive, caching, temporary files, pagefiles etc etc etc

So how could I find out what is using it?

Without sitting on Task Manager for ages hoping the thing that is using the drive is my HDD..

EDIT: I just turned off the pagefile, let's see if that fixed it.
