Solid but budget friendly tripod

Hey Guys,

 

Does anyone know of a solid tripod that is cheapish? im looking around the £20ish area....

 

if it doesnt have a quickrelease that would be nice, but its ok if it does...

i would also like it to be able to go flat down, so i can get low shots....

 

I want the put either the Benro S2 or Velbon PH-368 on it...

Take a look at the Dolica Pro Aluminum Alloy Tripod. My cousin uses it.

You might want to get a second tripod though. I replied before you updated your post with you saying it would be great to get one that could go fully flat. Nope, I'm an idiot.

hmmm 20 pound is a pretty thight budget, nearly impossible i would say personally.

 

Sadly the only tripod that I know and can go flat out are the Joby gorrilapod they are probably above your budget altough that depends on the kind you need/want, but worth a look, they get deliverd with head, but it's only optional in use, personally i would recommand saving up a bit and then see a bit further, since i think the budget is really small for a solid tripod.

the only downside on the gorrilapod though is that it's so small, the SLR zoom version is only 25cm/10 inch high, altough very versitile.

Wow! That looks like a good choice, seems to be met so it should be sturdy for sure, i would get that one.

Yeah it looks alright from the picture, but I googled the model number and found a video, and its not very sturdy when fully extended.... I need to extend mine.... It looked perfect until I found the video.... I think its a rebrand of the Fancier tripod.... So I might go and look at the official fancier line... And pick one based on YouTube reviews...
