PC upgrade!

Hello guys, I wanna end my build, currently i have :

Aerocool strike x one case,

Asrock Z77 fatal1ty proffesional M motherboard,

2X4GB DDR3 1333mhz Patriot Ram,

Intel core i7 2600k with Titan cooler,

Asus GTX 770 direct CU II,

500GB simple toshiba Hdd.

 

I wanna take 8gb DDR3 1600mhz ONE KIT  Patriot ram and put it with my 2x4gb dd3 1333mhz ram, and i wanna take Kingston 128gb SSD. I wanna ask guys, will 8GB DDR3 same brand ram kit with 1600mhz speed will work with mine 1333MHZ same brand ram ?

You'll have to put your memory speed to 1333MHz.

I don't know will it work, worker in shop said that i probably could put 8gb 1600mhz one ram kit with my 1333mhz two ram kit if it's same brand, he said that ram will set speed automatically, but i still not sure

Well if you don't use the XMP profile the RAM should be at 1333MHz by default.

The 1600mhz ram will change its speed to 1333mhz but yeah its fine. Also this is offtopic why?
