2000$ Gaming PC

1. Budget & Location
2000$ US

2. Aim
Gaming at 1440 60fps at high settings.

3. Monitors
Running 1 atm but might add another down the road.

4. Peripherals
Have everything I need.

5. Why are you upgrading?
My PC is 4 years old and showing her age :(

Trying to build a gaming PC that will last and has space to grow if needed down the line. Have a few friends who keep telling me to go with an x99 board over the z97 to future proof, but I'm unsure. Would like 16 gigs of Ram because I am a tab ***** when browsing. Would rather not overclock if not needed, but am not afraid too so I want the option. Live in pretty warm temps during summer so good cooling would be great (I'm fine with water AIO, but never made a custom loop nor do I have the budget). I would like a case with clean lines, but am pretty open to any suggestions. If going over my budget (within reason) would get me in a much better PC please let me know.

I agree with all of that, other than PSU, I would go with EVGA 750 G2.

Man, this will TEAR your games to shreds!!!!!

Never play in a 2 monitor setup. It just ruins everything. If you want more monitors get three, not 2.

this build is so worth it as you could go 4k render or use as workstation anything is at your disposal and you could run stock if too far out of your budget then get a nice water cooler

<p>Wish I could have this already!! : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qTLRjX
