gpu doesnt support uefi?

Go to solution Solved by DevilishBooster,

Does the card have a button for selecting the BIOS mode? I have the R9 280 OC Edition and it has a button on the thin side near the bracket that allows me to select either BIOS or UEFI mode, and it lights up blue when in UEFI mode.

I tried turning of csm to get a fast boot time but when i do i get a message that my gpu (r9 290, linked below) doesn't support uefi. This is weird because on the box of my card it says uefi compatible. Any ideas on how to fix this.
