Help Installing New Drive

Hello, I need help adding a new drive to my PC, every time I plug it in my computer turns on and gets stuck at the starting windows thing and I don't know how to fix it!

GPU:Gigabyte Radeon 270X

CPU COOLER:H60

Case:Corsair 760t

750Gb HDD some seagate shit

the one I want to add is 160 gb I and is a wd 1600 calvier

Does the windows logo appear? Might not be a HDD problem.

Yes it does, I am using windows 7 and you know when the windows logo thing appears that's when it doesn't go any further

Try booting into safe mode and running a HDD check.

 

I think you HDD might be fine. You might have an issue with video driver or something else. 

 

Google "windows 7 stuck on loading screen" if you have not yet.
