Hello all,

On some Android Lock screens you can hold down on a button and it will pop up with a wheel of things you can do from there, like camera or go straight into a certain app. Does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks

P.S: You're responding to an android newbie so try to make it understandable :)

With the standard lock screen on my LG phone, if I don't have a lock active (as in no pin or pattern lock) I can have 4 apps on the bottom that I can open from the lock screen.

So it could be possible with your phone too.

Otherwise, you can take a look into alternative lock screen (apps), like Go Locker.

Yeah, I have the LG G3, but if I want to open directly into an app I'd like to have a wheel(like i described), or at least have some kind of passcode into the apps.

I don't think you can do that with the stock Android lock, but I think that was possible with Go Locker..

First off, what phone do you have and what Android version?

I have the LG G3, and the operating system is LG's skinned Android Lollipop.
