Hi guys ! Today i build my first rig and i plugged the Screen in and i got a "No signal" message. My screen only has a VGA port but i used DVI cable with an adapter. This is not the first time when it happened .. my cousin gave me his old pc with the same cable and adapter and my screen gave me the same message that time. Any ideas why its not working ? Cause i can use VGA to VGA from my laptop just fine..

Unfortunately the only thing you can really do is get new screen that supports DVI.

you are going to have to get a DVI compatible Monitor. I recommend getting a DVI-I  and HDMI compatible Monitor.

CPU: Pentium G3258 @ 3.2GHz || GPU:(first release,used) MSI R9 270 OC || Motherboard:MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard || RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Sniper 1600 || Monitors: Vizio 22 in Ultra slim 1080p TV || Storage: Seagate barracuda 160 GB 7200RPM,(REFURB) 1TB toshiba 7200RPM || PSU: (stripped from 2013 CAD PC)Corsair CX600 build was under $420

No. because why would you want to downgrade your picture quality from DVI to VGA? It would be well worth buying a Monitor.

Sooo will my screen look like id use a VGA cable? If yes im all on buying a DVI with an adapter for the price of 20€ over a 200€ screen. I dont even work and im already out of money with this new build.

if your graphics card offers dvid, then plug the adapter through to that , and it should work.

you can also buy a splitter :http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-DVI92030202L-Monitor-Splitter-Y-Cable/dp/B00KILTAT8/ref=sr_1_6/187-0992057-6016610?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1431354836&sr=1-6&keywords=dvi-i+monitor

and for those who do not know the differences between outputs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f38sotYHqtA

then invest in a splitter if you do not want to buy a monitor  (because you said you have DVI-I)  ;)

Near me is a electronics shop .. can i find a splitter there ? And what kind of splitter i need ?

They should have one. or even bestbuy. you will need a DVI-I to DVI-D and VGA.
