Uber Drivers?

Does anyone here use Uber? I just heard about it. I was looking at being a driver for fun and just had some questions. Looking to work about 2 or 4 hours a week. I see Uber takes a cut from the fares. I just want to know if I get in accident with and Uber passenger what happens. I'm pretty sure Uber does not care and does not have my back. What happens if the guy/gal has drugs and cops think I'm picking up drug users. I will probably go to jail with them. Can anyone help me with these questions? I live in a nice area so I doubt that will happen but anything is possible. Thanks all.

It contacts the nearest person to the bar and I live no where near bars so I'm good. Now the airport is not located near any bars.

From what I have heard from people who are Uber covers you when you are on the way to a fare and when there is a passenger in the vehicle.  I also heard from one person who doesn't spend too much time that they made about $250 from it.  The two of the three times I have taken it was going to the airport at 4 in the morning, and it was a higher charge then, so if you are able to be out at that time of day there may be a chance to make more money

Thank you so much. My car gets 50mpg and its brand new. I figure 4 hours a week just to earn some extra cash. I'm going to apply tomorrow. What is UberBlack and UberLux?

Depends on a few factors

1. Location (What city)
2. Amount of time you drive
3. When
4. Where (eg by a college etc)

I can't say for sure, but I said it above as well I know one person made 250 a week, but doing it as a side job as a way to get out of the house when his wife was out of town
