Hi all.

I've had a Logitech G502 for about 6 months, excellent mouse with one glaring issue. Occasionally the tracking stops working, its for less then a second but its noticeable when you're moving the mouse but the pointer isn't following or worse you stop turning in an FPS.

I'm running Windows 8.1, the firmware on the mouse is up to date and i've tried 3 different mouse pads. It seems to be a common enough issue on the Logitech forums but most of the threads I have seen seem to just be "me too" posts but nothing in that way of a solution. I am wondering if anyone in the community has had a similar issue and is there a fix?

Mainly I am worried that if I try to claim this on the warranty the very next unit will have the same issue.

Thanks all.

I remember that issue back when the mouse was originally released, though it has never affected me.

There was an issue with the surface tuning software and you had to set it to 'factory default' tuning in order to get it to track properly.

If that doesn't help then I'm guessing you may have a fault with the sensor and need a warranty repair.
