Hey!

I'm planning my first watercooling build and had an idea of external 360mm or 420mm radiator. (It would look cool.) One problem is that it would make the case quite hard to move anywhere. I'd like to be able to take my computer to LANs for example.

So could I use quick disconnect fittings and just take the radiator off when I'm transporting the computer? Im worried of liquid getting out of the loop or air getting in to the loop.

Thanks for any help.

Quick disconnects spill barely any water (milliliters). At least the recent ones.

You will be fine as long as you don't constantly disconnect and connect it. Eventually you will need to re-fill.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.
