Hello again

it's me again, yeah another topic, I know but I'm still not sure which mobo to get.

I'll be getting a i7 4790K (maybe OC to 4.6, depends on the chip and if I need it) and I'm looking for a mobo.

The mobo's and their prices:

  • GIGABYTE GA-Z97P-D3 --> € 90
  • ASRock Z97 Anniversary --> € 100
  • MSI Z97 PC Mate --> € 103
  • GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 --> € 123

note: I don't need CF or SLI.

note 2: I have read here on the forums that the Gigabyte mobo has some software which takes up a lot of ram (here)

note 3: I have compared the mobo's on http://www.pc-specs.com/and this is the score

  • GIGABYTE GA-Z97P-D3 --> 7.6
  • ASRock Z97 Anniversary -->  8.3
  • MSI Z97 PC Mate --> 8.4
  • GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 --> 8.8

So what I want to know is: "if you have a budget of € 125 for a mobo which of the 4 would YOU pick and why?"

I know there are better OC boards available but OC isn't the main reason why I'm getting the cpu, I think 4.0-4.4 Turbo is good enough.

To be honest it wont matter much. I would go MSI or Gigabyte since I trust them but overall the mobo functionality is the same.

Im so patriotic, I piss red white and blue. My doctor told me it was pancreatic cancer, I told him to SHUT HIS COMMIE MOUTH.
