dead motherboard ?

Go to solution Solved by shujin,

solved my problem by not being stupid (again)

You need to make sure the mobo is the problem by doing what i suggest, so when you RMA the mobo, you will get a working pc rather than having to test everything again.

well tested everything else so I knew for a fact that the mobo was the problem ^^

Make sure the case front panel connectors are connected properly also.

did it ^^

So hi guys I'm building a computer for my dad today here is the part list:

so my problem is that when I push the power button nothing happen. I've tried shorting the pin doesn't work either

I've tested the psu with a paper clip everyfan start spinning everything seems to work .

the only used part is the ram that I've tested in my other system they work fine

I've tested every piece of the system ram, psu, gpu, ssd and I still have the problem

So is my motherboard dead as it's the only part that I can't really test

edit: if the problem persist I'll post image of the whole thing

I would suggest break it down again part by part.

and try powered it on outside the case, just the cpu, gpu, and ram.

to test if the bios posted or not.

the problem is that I already have cable manage all the things so the psu is not moving from there I'll test each part individually in my test bench but it'll take some time
