I was looking for software which would allow me to set a specific fan curve for my computer, then I somehow found "smcFANcontrol" which turned off all my case fans except my AIO fan.

Would it be safe to keep all my fans off and my AIO (+GPU) fan spin at a speed of around 600-800 RPM under any load? I benchmarked the CPU and it didn't go any higher than 65 degrees celsius with this low RPM. If anyone has some software that has fan curves etc, it would be greatly appreciated, unless those RPMs are safe

Keep in mind that I'm on OS X.

Presuming your temps stay cool those fan speeds will be fine.

you could try this but it does not mention the ability to control with a fan curve.

Also found this which has an upper and sower limit but doesn't enable you to change the temp to fan ratio between.

If you can't find anything you can always use a physical fan controller.

P.S. Out of curiosity what do you use a GTX 780 for in OSX for? Do you do video editing?, or maybe dualboot/VM for gaming?. Or were just like Yolo Why not!?

Thanks. And I didn't buy the GPU with making a hackintosh in mind. I used the GPU for gaming with the windows OS, and just recently installed the mac OS.
