I built my first computer last year with an AMD fx8350, Gigabyte 990fxa, H60 liquid cooler, and Gtx 770 and running windows 8.1os on a Kingston Hyper x SSD. The build went perfectly, with no faults, or problems. However recently, my computer has been randomly freezing with no apparent cause. The computer merely stops and the audio buzzes loudly for a couple seconds and stops. The cpu fan runs at full speed whilst this is happening and continues to no matter how long i leave it. The system requires a complete restart and always turns on with no issue. I've tested the Ram with Memtest86 and no errors were recorded. I have no overheating issues, as i am constantly keeping up with both CPU and GPU temperatures with Open Hardware monitor. This issue occurs at the most random of times and doesn't matter if the CPU and GPU are under load or not. I have run numerous anti virus scans with no security threats identifiable. I have no idea what could be causing this issue, if anyone has any idea what i can do to identify the problem then i would be eternally grateful.

Thank you for any reply

Chris

Try taking the whole computer apart, then putting it back together. This has done wonders for me when I've got issues with my PC. If you don't feel like taking it apart then you could try making sure everything is secure and as it should be. If that doesn't work it could be an OS issue or possibly if it comes to worse, a hardware problem. Try testing your other components in another PC to see if anything is faulty. If anything is, RMA it and get it replaced.
