So a few days ago, i swapped all of components over from an antex gx500 to the corsair air 540. Today is the first time that I've been able to really mess with anything so i decided to run a few benchmarks just to make sure everything was running alright. In the antec case, my Strix 970 with full load would run somewhere between 65-75 degrees with i think around 40% fan speed but now is idling at 50 degrees and as soon as i run anything intense, shoots all the way up to 92 degrees and 100% fan speed. Everything else is running perfect with better temps than before and such. I really have no idea what could have happened to have the card heat up so much more and the fan speed to go wild. I have returned all of the overclocks on the gpu back down to default with Asus Gpu tweak if that is at all important. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New case, make sure you don't have all your fans to exhaust or something like that? It's weird that it only happened after swapping cases. Other than that if the card sagged a bit when moving it around to the new case it might have a bubble in between the GPU and the cooler, like the thermal paste now has a bubble due to the sagging/flex (which shouldn't since I believe this card has a backplate) but those are the two things I can think of
