Okay guys,

At the end of the month I'll be getting bit of money and was thinking about upgrading my setup. I'm going to upgrade my monitors but can't decide with what setup to go for. So i was wondering what you guys opinions were!

I currently have a GTX 780, but it will be getting either an upgrade or SLI later on in the year, so it doest really matter what monitor solution I choose.

The options are as follows:

3x Asus VN248HA 24" for NVIDIA Surround

OR

ASUS PB287Q Single 4K Monitor w/ No aditional monitors

OR

ASUS PB278Q 1440p to begin and then LATER ON add another monitor for dual monitors

Soo yeah.. any comments/feedback would be much appreciated

PS: these monitor will be used for gaming/programming once i get to Uni, so a long term investment :P

Last option wins. Surround is meh. 4K is not worth it yet. Dual 1440p is sweet.

I was swithering towards this too, plus I've heard the PB287Q is a great monitor so yah

I vote 4k.

The real estate for 4K would be real nice, but unless i upgrade to like a titan i probs wouldn't be able to play games on high quality so would have to downscale.. something has to be sacrificed but idk what :S

It's not really real estate unless you like squinting.

just so you know, you won't be playing much games on 2 monitors, since the middle of the image would be at the bezels

i'd suggest you  g-sync ips 144hz 1440 monitor, but that costs bit more :D

A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.
