I'm expecting my PC Parts to come today. What do you guys think of the hardware?

Looks like a good build,

but what are you using it for and how much money do you have to spend on it?

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

18 Gigs of RAM? first time i ever see that. what size modules do you use?

I'm using it for schoolwork, games, and browsing. I bought it already and I spent around 1300-1400 USD

Ok well the build looks good, probably could have got better for your money but it's a bit late for that now.

Yeah, I realized. I could have gotten 2 R9 290 in Crossfire but I am very happy with the parts, and I could SLI with the 970 in the future.

Yep sli 970's would be the best upgrade you can do now.
