Help Decide My Phone

Go to solution Solved by Curufinwe_wins,

m8. If you want that generation (s5,g3,m8,iphone 5), you would be hard pressed to find anything better built, faster, sexier, or better serviced (in the US). UNLESS you find camera is your number one thing in a phone, which if thats the case, cool but.... the m8's camera really isn't as bad as people made it out to be. There is a thread with m8 vs s5 for another person recently looking for a new phone, and much of the same things apply.

I recently dropped my old S3, tragic I know, and now I'm on the quest for looking for a new phone.  I have narrowed down my search to two phones, the HTC One M8 and the LG G3.  Price is not a factor here.  My main focus is web browsing, light gaming and video play back.  Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the reply, but the One Plus isnt supported on my carrier and the Nexus 6 is out of my price range.  The Nexus 5 looks promising could you give me any info?

Well it pretty good, i have it myself. The Camera is not that all good but apart from that it pretty good. The only problem i have with the nexus 5 is the speaker only goes out one end and the battery life varies depend how you use it. With a custom rom and battery saving settings it last 2-3 hrs screen time with 4GB LTE and wifi. There tonnes of reviews on their on the Internet. Just Google it and there should be some of other people view.s

Thanks for pointig me in that direction, however I noticed that there is no Micro SD expansion slot on the Nexus 5.  That is a deal breaker for me unfortunatly.  Thanks for the repy still.

Thanks for the opinion and I'm leaning much more to the M8 side now after reading that thread about the S5 vs M8.  Thank you very much
