Finally took off my far superior blower style coolers, compared to my open air and put my water coolers back on.

 

Tired of being worried about form over function. Rig may be upgraded and water cooled soon, so this is just to get by.

 

House I'm currently in cant support a lot of electrical draw so my pc is limited to performance, especially oc's.

 

Very happy with this setup now. A lot less power being drawn from the card as the psu provides all the power for the fans and pumps.

 

Bought the corsair gpu mount things today from micro center, turns out I got the amd versions. So either gonna order those or get more copper heat sinks.

Temps on air 65 top and 60 bottom.

Temps on water 45 top and 42 bottom.

lol at first i was wondering why do you have connectors on the back of your gpu then i realize they are heat sinks

It may look crazy but your giving you cards a happy life.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Yea, the rest of the vram gets cooled so why not do something for the ones on the back right?

 

 

It may look crazy but your giving you cards a happy life.

For now, cant wait to over clock and see if it will make any frame difference under water.
