I'm selecting my SSD for my first HTPC build.  Unsure of what the difference is between "Synchronous Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND Flash Memory" and "Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND Flash Memory."

Here are the options I'm choosing between (the 128GB):

Here is the build:

Any help would be much appreciated!

Don't get an adata.. Buy from one of the manufacturer partners of Nand producers... Crucial, Samsung, intel or OCZ

The OCZ Arc 100 or Crucial BX100 / MX100 are $60, $65 and $70 for good quality first tier manufacturers

Also the green line of HDD's from WD are not good if your going to be using them allot.. They are suited to being used intermittently and seldom.. (EG an external drive or a backup or possibly as a media store as long as your not hitting it all the time)

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

Quote or @dzzope to get my attention..

I originally had a Samsung in there but switched due to price.  If I should switch back to Samsung, which series?  850, 840, or 830?

Also, I have read that WD Green is good for media storage as I will not be using it other then when I watch a movie or play music.  I was thinking a possible upgrade path would be to use this as a DVR, in which case I would get a black drive from WD for DVR storage.

OCZ Arc 100 is much less cost and similar performance to the Sammy. Also does better as the drive fills, thanks to it's controller.

BTW, OCZ are now owned by Hitachi.. They have always had good customer service (even through the initial days with failing sandforce controllers) but now also have manufacturer backing to boot and make really good kit (as do all the big 4)

That's Toshiba, not Hitachi.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!
