Yes it's good.

 

Any anti virus is "good", as long as it's up to date and you're not a complete idiot on the internet.

 

If all you want is an anti virus, no firewall or anything, Avira Free is currently one of the best rated anti virus. (or it was the last time I checked)

But like norton is the reason that I thought getting a ainti virus would be good, to block all the norton spam

Bitdefender is currently the highest rated anti virus, I got it for like a dollar for 180 days on g2a.
