helllo,

My current pc specs are AMD x4 760k, cheap Gigabyte motherboard, 8gb crucial 1600mhz ram, 2 tb HDD and a AMD HD 7770. I have started to dip below 30 fps in modern games such as dayz, arma and rust. I play these games but also games such as battlefield, Counterstrike and Dota.

So was wondering what the best cheapish upgrade for my GPU would be, around £100-150.

Also would a SSD get me more frames in games such as Arma and Dayz?

Thankyou,

Kieran Austin

A ssd wouldn't increase your fps. It would help to list your psu in case that needs to be upgraded.

An SSD will not get you more FPS, but will get you quicker loading times.

I think a R9 280x is a good bet for a graphics card.

What he said.

Budget?

*EDIT*

Just saw he said £100-150...

I meant to do that.

R9 280x or GTX 960 if you want to overclock and dont mind less VRAM.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/
