VG248QE Help.

Munken-

So I have an Asus VG248QE and love it, but there is one problem. I am using an HDMI cable to use the monitor from my PC. When I turn VSync on, I get locked at 60 frames. My monitor is locked at a 60 refresh rate currently. The in game settings all end at 1920x1080 60Hz. Any ideas on how I can fix this, or does HDMI lock at 60? I am also going to purchase a DisplayPort cable soon.

Go into your monitor settings and set the monitor to 144hz, you should find the setting in the nvidia control panel.

HDMI is capable of only 60Hz.

Use DVI (the cable that came with the monitor) or displayport.
