Budget: $800 USD. I plan on working over the summer to get the money for this build. Minus the cost of a Wii U and some games as well as taxes, i'll have roughly $800 to spend.

Aim: I want to use this rig for gaming, but i also want to make games (or at least learn to.) My current PC is old and slow, so i need to upgrade, and i want to upgrade with intent to use this setup for a while (at least 3 years).

Monitors: Any monitor selected must have these requirements met: MUST have a 60Hz or higher refresh rate, MUST have HDMI AND SPEAKERS for the Wii U. It'd be prefered if it were IPS and/or 16:10.

Peripherals: DO NOT REMOVE THE G602. That thing is my dream mouse. It WILL be in this build.

Proposed Build:

If you aren't even ordering the parts til the summer i'd look up parts then and not now. A lot can happen in 1 Quarter.

Then again, I do like the build listed, Would've went intel but ya know....

I'd strongly recommend a better CPU as building the world takes a long, long time even on fast hardware.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

I'm just getting an idea of what parts would be like now. I'll make adjustments as new items are released and deals come about. As far as Intel goes, i'd be looking at an i3 with my budget...
