I know this is water/liquid cooling threads and I figure the people who post here would have the most knowledge on the Forum about cooling in general.  Like Peltier Devices and whatnot.  Maybe power supplies... but it is cases too. not a lot of hope in finding an answer there so i post here.

My current cooling solution is not working out right now.  This is not water cooling or even PC related.   That is my AC(5000BTU 600W) window unit i am talking about.  Compressor kicks in fan kicks in as soon as it is powered on, after a few min or even less sometimes, the compressor shuts off . Last year around late may-june it did this as  well but soon worked there after all summer without a hitch.  I was able to get it to work one day last month.

Normally compressors will turn themselves off automatically if there isn't enough freon. This is more or less a safety measure to prevent damage. I don't know too much about Air con but I hope that is at least a start.

seems to be the case with those HVAC units i keep reading about. I am going to see if it works for longer .  Last year i don't think it would have ran 24/7 all summer though if it were low... Maybe it could have. I took it out of the window working.
