Just installed a new rig and nvidia control panel gives no option to sli. I go to device manager and one of the cards has an exclamation mark on it in a yellow triangle what do I do next?

Here are some potential causes.

  • Not enough power (wattage)
  • Faulty card
  • Not connected properly
  • Faulty PCIe Slot

What's the rest of your build?

Bump

the code 43 is usually associated with driver failures. So try checking if you installed the right drivers.

and it can also rarely mean that one of the GPU's is dead/defective try checking both out

PROBLEM SOLVED:

I started by putting each into each others PCIe slot ect and then one was fine one was not powering up. I realised I'd connected 12 instead of 14 power pins into the gpu so it wasn't powering (although the 12 was fine for one of the graphics cards) both have 14 pins in and now fine :)
