Im planning another build for one of my friends. I was thinking of using the S340. Its simple and had everything he wanted (clean look and a side window). Then i found the Enthoo Pro. It had the same things we wanted and then some. I showed it to him yesterday and he loved it. Should I switch or keep the S340? (Price isnt a problem. He said that he could spare the extra money)

If you are asking for opinions on looks, I would go with the S340 personally. Did you show him the new case NZXT came out with (or is coming out with, I believe its pre-order, but Linus has a video on it already like the ninja he is )? That thing is a beast.

HardwareCanucks got it already.

And Luke (Slick) did a build in a Noctis:

Sig under construction.

Im just asking in general. Looks, how easy it is to work in, how well it keeps dust out. Stuff like that

Sorry, haven't used any of them personally, but it seems like a nice case to work in and you should not have any problems. The only case I have ever really experienced difficulty building in was the Bitfenix Prodigy M (micro-atx) it was all cramped and weird, but it was a smaller case and a normal ATX case like that should be fine.

I had the same conundrum earlier on, S340 or the Enthoo Pro as both came in white? But after doing all my research, the Enthoo Pro only marginally cost more, has better airflow and ease of use, it was a no brainer. I love my Enthoo Pro, my case temp is never above 50c (mind you, I live in the tropics, and no aircond). It just works and much better than my expectations.

My humble rig: Intel i7-4790 * Cooler Master 412 Slim * MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition * A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 * Gainward GTX-970 Phantom Edition * Samsung 850 EVO 250Gb * Seagate 1Tb. HDD * Phanteks Enthoo Pro (White) * Seasonic M12II EVO 750W * Dell U2414H 24" IPS * Tt eSports Poseidon ZX Brown Switch * Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury *

The S340 is easier to work in and should be difficult to mess up with when it comes to cable management.

Provided a good airflow configuration, dust shouldn't be an issue with either case as they are properly filtered.

If you list the system components, it may be easier to determine the more appropriate case.

Me and my friends both have our own builds, I went with Phanteks, he went with NZXT.

I can honestly say Phanteks is the better deal, it supports just about anything you throw at it, and the airflow is fantastic. The thing with the H440 and S340, is that the intake doesn't have much room to go, and the exhaust to an extent. If you really wanna look at them look at the reviews, but the Phanteks has gotten huge recommendations from Linus AND Hardware Canucks. I think that speaks volumes about the Pro.

The phanteks definitely has more options and might be better for expanding later on, but if its a simple build its seems like overkill for me. To much wasted space. I own a s340 and love how clean and simple it is, but it has its limitations if you want a more complex setup.
