Help with phone migration

So I finally upgraded my iphone from an iphone 4s to an iphone 5s but am getting some problems. I have a lot of group chats on my old phone that don't exist anymore on my new phone. I've had someone text me from the group chat but the text from the group chat never reaches my new phone but goes to my old phone. Any ideas?

If it's possible, it's not easily done. Jailbroken phones make this much easier. That, or disable/uninstall the app from the old phone, unless it's iMessage. If that's the case, follow the steps to unregister the device from your account.
