Hi,

I will probably be purchasing a PC over the weekend. My plan is to upgrade it and then resell the PC.

I really don't want to spend a lot of money on the upgrade, so my budget is max £70.

Here are the specs:

Operating System
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (clean install).

Memory
- 4GB DDR2

Graphics
- Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT

Processor
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.67ghz

Motherboard
- Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R (FSB1333 - DDR2 800/1066)

Hard drive
- 1TB SATA

Power supply
- EZCool Super Silent 450w

Keyboard
- Mad Catz V5 Gaming Keyboard

Monitor
- Cibox 19" Widescreen

The PC is second hand and the owner is selling it because he is moving abroad.

I do not want to individually sell the parts.

Thanks,

- Harry

Do you think I could sell it for over £200 with no upgrades?

no, but I also don't think you'd get the money back out of it from the upgrades

I don't know the PC market in the UK, but in the US it'd be worth maybe $130-$150

edit: actually when I consider that it includes a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, I'd expect it to bring $180-$200

Even with the monitor and keyboard?

Please take this post more seriously.

this computer need a serious cleaning. looks dusty as hell. please use compressed air. If you feel confident enough, I suggest you take everything appart to clean it thoroughly. i would even go so far as to renew the thermal paste of your cpu. (10$ tube). An SSD would be a great upgrade for the system. a simple 120gb for 60-80$.

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr
