How do i check if i have a good chip?

What tests can i run to determine if i have a good chip?

And how do i check the idle and load temps for it?

Whether you have a good chip or not depends on how well you can overclock it.

Just see how far you can push it.

Great temps buddy, nothing to worry about.
25C minimum on idle is very good, you're watercooled right?

You need to run a stress test, to see what your temps do under load, idle temps tell us/you little. See the box on the left of your screenshot that says "Download Prime 95"? Click on it!

Also determining if you have a good chip is based on how far you can overclock it and whether or not you can sustain that overclock.

There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Just some helpful stuff: You're - You are, Your - Your car, They're - They are, Their - Their car, There - Over there.

What cpu do you have? If you have ivy/haswell than those temps are normal due to low end thermal paste between IDE and die which you can fix with few tutorials and decrease temps from 10 to 30 degrees celsius dramaticly

Not watercooled. I'm using the CM Hyper Evo.
