Alternative to Adobe Premier

Not willing to pay a monthly fee to run a peice of software that I am likely to use occattionally.  Creative Cloud is not right for me.

 

So, with that said, what do you recommed for a strong video editor.  I am more concerned about capability, not so concerned about price, but $600 per year is too much for a piece of software.

You can get CS6 Master Collection free even though I doubt this site condones piracy... If you hardly use it just grab a trial, full features for 30 days.... If you run out it is quite easy to install again...

Yes, Sony Vegas Pro is the only alternativ I can think of on Windows. The only other thing would be to shift to Mac and use Final Cut Pro
