So I am looking at potentially upgrading my GPU, but I'm not sure if I should or what to go to if i decide to upgrade.

I am also looking at getting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815100100&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=6146836&SID=i8t0rxbzga000a1700053 for recording. Would I be able to run that safely with my current specs?

I plan on getting the PCI card so I can record without using the CPU.

As for the NVIDIA, would that record without bothering CPU usage?

That thing should be able to run fine the game capture and I recommend maybe a GTX 780 or 780 Ti. Might I ask why you want a 170$ game capture card when software is cheaper?
