SABERTOOTH Z87 USB flash?

Hey guys, here with another question.

 

Is it possible to do the USB flash with an external HDD?  My memory stick is broken and I was told you can only do it with that.  :(

 

Also, how is it that I actually update my BIOS if I can't use an external HDD please?

You can update your BIOS through AI Suite as well. You might be able to use an external HDD.

Change it to FAT32.

I can only pick exFAT or NTFS :(

 

EDIT: Using some software to convert it now.

 

EDIT 2:  Doesn't work as in, it won't detect it.

 

EDIT 3:  Does it HAVE to be FAT32?

Yes, fat16 OR Fat32. Anything else the UEFI cannot read.

I flashed the BIOS thing and updated it but I'm still having a further problem.
