G3258 voltage tips

For the 10 time this month, a Hyper 212 is not going to get you to 5GHz. 4.7....Maybe but not 5.

 

Get something a little more heavy duty if your going to overclock that hard.

Well im getting this for now but i will oc it around 4.7-5ghz any tips for voltage getting a hyper 212 evo air fan

Your gonna, need to see what the thermals and if your gonna be able to even hit those speeds. 

Also what motherboard are your gonna be running with the G3258?

Mb is asus z97-p and im getting an great noctua compund that will improve it allot (says the guys who tried it on the buyerse website)

Look, I have the liquid cooler equivalent of the Hyper 212, and I can say right now that you won't hit the 5GHz mark with your 212 as its just not good enough. If you want a really high overclock, buy a better air cooler or a 240mm liquid cooler. Otherwise your just going to fry your CPU.
