Hello everyone,

I used Folding @ Home back when it was on the PS3, I had no idea I could use my rig to help out till I saw today's youtube video and decided to try it out. I turned my folding power bar to full, I had Hardware Monitor open to make sure everything was being used to its potential. My CPU is going ahead at full speed and load for the most part, but my GPU hovers around 88% usage, and its temp stays around 64 celcius, so I know for sure it can go higher.

I was hoping to get some help or tips as to what I can do to maximize the usage of my GPU. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced.

For reference my specs:

i7-5930k @ 4.5ghz

STRIX GTX 980 @ 1400mhz

16GB DDR4 at 2666mhz

Look at the folding tips and tricks youll need to manually set your gpu clock and unset 2d setting or something, i did it, it worked.

I found what you mentioned in the tips and tricks section, and its says if your gpu memory doesn't show 1752.8 MHz then its not boosting, but my memory shows 1875 MHz.

o,maybe it was just the memory. Not sure, i know i have seen this before. Ill edit if i find anything out.

Edit: it must be the nvidia gta v driver update, i think that is the only thing that has changed with my system , i'm getting 90ish % too, i would normally be pinned at 99. clock speeds look mostly stable. i think this will be fixed soon or something will find a workaround.

For most systems now adays, just install the Folding client and pretty much works. PPD will vary based on WU's and such, nothing you can do about that though.
