Ignore grammatical errors as Im writing on my phone since my pc is dead-ish.

Long story short:
Was playif gta5, pc turns off. 1 seconds later a moderate volume BANG and a spark or two. I jump and unplug all cables. Stuff smells like burning.
Open up pc, take out gpu - looks ok. Lean in and smell the psu - source oc smell. I think its dead. Noticed that I had to pay almost twice as much for electricity past two months. Was that a sign my psu was dying?

Since Im guessing it's dead, what 700w~ modular psu you guys would recommend?
Location: Europe, Lithuania.

its 1pm. if there are any questions ill answer them im 6~ hours when I wake up.

@xTheEc0, the PSU is PROBABLY dead :P. You were in luck, it could've gone worse.

Get any PSU from someone like Be Quiet! when in Europe, or someone like EVGA/Corsair when in USA. When in any other continent, search for famous brands of PSU's. Don't get some random Chinese BS.

(Getting something from the same continent is good for the prices of it, remember that!)

EDIT:

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

I'll reccommend a PSU that I use EVGA NEX750G. Its gold 80 plus rating and modular 750w. Its 60-80 bucks

Just checked some of my country's retailers. They dont even have evga... all bequiet psu's are non modular...

So i think im going with corsair cx750 80+ bronze modular.

Thank you guys for help support and tips : )
