I am saving up money to buy myself a computer. The only part I have is a hard drive (1tb caviar blue).

My budget is around £450. I do not need any peripherals or a monitor. Instead of a hard drive I could have an SSD in the budget potentially to accompany my current HDD.

I want to use the computer mainly for gaming. www.steamcommunity.com/id/cookiezfort is my steam profile so people can check what games I play.

I would like to run these games on as high framerate as possible on medium-high and potentially ultra on some games (1080p, 60 fps, except csgo which I want higher fps because fps drops are massive).

Hmmm, that ssd won't last long. Or at all, add a 500gb HDD and is say that's an ok pc.

Another option would be to buy a used pc. Ivy and sandy bridge are still good cpu's

I guess people dont check the original post.

I already have a 1TB caviar blue hard drive that I will be using for storage anyways

I missed that one part. Chill.

A suggestion, find a used ivy bridge i5 and motherboard, and then buy the rest new.

I wouldn't like go above the budget too much. Overclocking is not really my thing and my dad (I am 15) will basically 'kill' me if I do it, he doesn't trust me that much (used to be a tech guy).

EDIT: I guessed someone may want to look at what games I play www.steamcommunity.com/id/cookiezfort (I live in the UK)
