Need help NVIDIA

So my friend bought a used computer for 50 Euros. There is some asus board with 3GB of ddr2 RAM and intel Dual Core. Storage is segate HHD 500GB. For that PC i gave him a Nvidia GeForce 650Ti. The problem is that I installed for him Windows 8.1 pro and the geforce experience finds the GPU and trays to install the driver. With the express install it installs normal and says that pc need to restart, after restart it is not installed. With custom install there at installing the video driver the screen turns black, and in is not coming back. Any suggestions how to install the driver.

Make sure you are trying to install it with admin privileges.

I have a water-cooled pc with hard pipe.

is the gpu recognized by device manager?

Make sure you are trying to install it with admin privileges. 

On that pc is only one account and that is admin even tryed to install from web downloaded driver runing as administrator.

yes it is even with yellow sing. updating driver trough device mangier says that newest driver is already installed.

okay, did you do a automatic install?

 

otherwise point the installer to c:/nvidia and include subfolders

 

if that worked, retry the installer

I did the automatic install and installing in  C:/nvidia is all the same problems.

i meant right mouse on the gpu in device manager update driver then select manual install then select c:/nvidia as driver source including subfolders

 

you can use the regular installer with the default folder

You said the computer used ddr2 ram? The mobo may not be best of friends with the gtx 650ti

still nothing the pc just turns in to blue screen.
