I will have an est of 478 USD(21,500 500) by the end of the week.
111.11 USD(5,000php) will be allotted to a Seasonic PSU, So there will be 368USD(16,500) left for upgrades.

I currently have a FX-6300 & 970A-DS3P mobo. But no GPU. If I will sell my current cpu+mobo it'll be a total of 456USD(20,500) for upgrades

Should I,
1. Sell my mobo then buy a 970Gaming mobo + GTX 960(Total funds will be 411.11USD/18,500php)
111.11 USD(5,000php) for 970 gaming + 300USD(13,500php) for GTX 960

My GTX 960 Choices are - I dont want the ASUS strix coz its small lol / No EVGA 960s / Gigabyte windforce 960 is $20 less than the Zotac GTX 970
MSI GTX 960 100th ME Edition for $290 - I want this to match my razer theme
MSI GTX 960 4GB Gaming for $271 - The 2GB variant of the MSI 960 is $4 higher than the 4GB Gaming (IM SERIOUS)

MSI GTX 960 Krait Edition for $210 - This is my Last option If I were to go for a 960

1.Go Intel+ECS Mobo Bundle - 456USD(20,500 total funds)
11051851_10205434483453317_3883426142247

a.) i5 4590 for $204(9,200). option to add until $22(1,000) for a better mobo = $227(10,200) for bundle then $229(10,300) for gtx 960

b.)i5 4690 for $225(10,160) + option to add until $11(500) for a better mobo = $236(10,660) then $220(9,800) for GTX 960
c.)i5 4690k for $245 + option to add until $22 for a better mobo = $267 then $190 for a GTX 960

2. Go Intel - Z97 Board + G3258 = $456 funds
My z97 board of choice is the Z97SLI Krait edition for $160(7,200) + $72(3,240) for the Anniv Edition = $232 + $224 for GTX 960

You need to buy a GPU.  Buy the best GPU you can, then later upgrade to Intel.  Unless you play certain games that run infinitely better on Intel like MMOs.

It'll only be a gtx 970.
Also, Im having a problem with my current mobo, every then and now all usb devices connected(except kb and mouse) gets dc'ed then later reconnects, bad part is, I use a USB wifi. I cant use an Ethernet cable because of our current house layout and the router/modem is on another room

970 is a very powerful card.  I would go with that, and then I guess upgrade to another AM3+ mobo later on.  Its not ideal, but you are in an interesting predicament.

Ive tried having a 970 before to pair with my FX-6300. And I didnt see any improvement in my games bec of bottlenecks.

I was able to go from high(60+fps) to Ultra(60-70fps) on BF4. but that's only the case. On my other games, meh. I have to use DSR to feel the improvement, but DSR mousescaling and TEXT scaling SUX.

Also, what ECS board can you recommend based on the given bundle options?

you need a graphics card mate, not a CPU and a motherboard...find yourself an R9 280X or R9 290 for cheap and call it a day ;)

| CPU: Core i7-8700K @ 4.89ghz - 1.21v  Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING  CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 |

Looks like you didnt read the post well. Every choice except the "all out" one has a GTX 960 in it.

I live in the ph, there's no cheap here xD the z97 sli krait should cost $125(5,625php) if you base it in US pricing, but then it cost $160(7,200php) here.

I also dont want to buy second hand items unless its from my friend. Trust issues, lol

but someone is selling his 6990 for $130 idk if its a good deal tho. but it'll whack my electricity bill anyway, so meh

?!? i did...your post says that you have an FX-6300 and a 970 socket motherboard for it...and no GPU...

So just get a GPU, wheter it's a GTX 960 or GTX 970 is up to you.

As said try with the upgrade and get the GTX 970 that might help i think.

Before I sold my last gpu I had a 270x Vapor-x -> GTX 970 -> r9 280x -> 270x toxic then I sold the toxic.
The reason I went from 970 to 280x is that I didnt really felt the performance increase because of the bottleneck.
I used money I got from selling the 970 to buy a Blackwidow Chroma :D

ok now i'm 100% totaly confused but if you think you need a new CPU then yes go with the i5-4590 and no the 4690 isnt worth 21$ more it's worth 10$ more.

so what's the GPU you'll end up playing your games with and what resolution?
