Hey fam, I've been into the PC Master Race world for about 4 months now, and it's addicting as hell. This is the THIRD time I've switched out components and cases, and I think I've finally found my happy place. I now present to you,

 

 

 

DARTH VADER

 

-Intel Core i7 4790k 

-Asus Matrix Platinum GTX 980 (SLI)

-Corsair H105 All-In-One liquid cooler

-Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 Motherboard

-Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 (8x2)

-Crucial 1TB SSD

-Corsair Obsidian 900D Supertower (picked it up at Microcenter for $159.99 because it was "open box", it was only a floor model and never used!!!!!!

-7x Corsair AF120 Quiet Edition fans

-1x Corsair SP140 Fan

-3 Corsair fans that came with the case on the front side

-Corsair K70 RGB Mechanical Keyboard

-Logitech g502 Proteus Core Mouse

-ASUS PB28Q 1440p Monitor

-Beats Beatbox Portable as my speakers

 

 

I am extremely happy with how my build came out. I spend majority of my time making sure my cables were routed perfectly in the back and zip tied as needed so everything looked very tidy! In the future I do wish to fully water cool my build with custom water loops, but I dont think I have the ability to do that yet! Let me know what you guy's think of this build, and what I could do better to...make it better!

That is a really nice build. Congrats on the cheap 900D. Wish I got bargains like that. :(

Yeah, it was originally listed as 199.99, manager carried it out, struggling really hard since it's pretty heavy, I told him I'd do 130 and I'd take it right now, he said lowest he could go was $160, I never argued back lol

I love it. It has a nice quality feel to it. They do great for 1440p, Was going to get a 4k monitor instead, but I've heard horror stories about gaming at 4k for now so I stayed away

I love it. It has a nice quality feel to it. They do great for 1440p, Was going to get a 4k monitor instead, but I've heard horror stories about gaming at 4k for now so I stayed away

Looks like a really nice build, would love to run this as my daily machine!  :P

It's just such a shame that having Optical Drives and Fan Controllers installed slightly ruin the exterior ascetics for me. I really wish Corsair had made a solution to deal with this...

Darth Vader is all black. Also the parts are nice but I hope you plan on water cooling in the future because that case looks bare.
