Low system volume issue.

So this is a strange one.   

 

I have never had an issue with my sound.  I normally used my display speakers or plugged in a set of Logitech G35s which use the standard 3.5" plugs.   The other day I decided to break out my G930 Wireless headset though.  However since then when I try to play sound through my speakers the volume is extremely low.   In addition when I plug my G35 speakers in they are detected but doesn't show up as a sound device any longer.  Board is an Asus Maximus VI Formula using the build in output.  

 

Any ideas?

are you plugging your headphones into the front panel or into the motherboard directly?

In sound manager if you right click your headphones and go to properties and to the levels tab is there a gain slider?

Are you plugging your speakers and headphones into the green (stereo) plug.

Guess I should have been more clear..  

 

Logitech G930 Volume is fine.  USB connection.  

Logitech G35 (or any other standard headphones) Low volume.  Plugged directly into Motherboard 3.5" connector.  

Display Speakers, Low Volume.  Output through Displayport.  

 

All sound levels are Maxed.
