I've been upgrading my system piece by piece for months and it has been going smoothly. I've bought Asus X99-s, an intel i7 5820k, new RAM sticks, a GTX 970.. And as for this month I got another 970, 2 new SSDs and a new PSU. I will not buy anything more since I feel satisfied with this build. But this month, today, as I was struggling with getting all the cables on point and fixing whatever I had to do everything is TERRIBLY slow.

My system takes about 20 minutes to boot, it says "Overclocking failed" as I try to start it. Once I got in to it I fixed my SSDs and that's as far as I got until I can't get in to my desktop anymore. It automatically throws me in to BIOs and I can't seem to do anything about it. I can asure you that everything is connected correctly as everything actually works when I finally get in. Though I am a little bit frustrated, I'm new with building my own, this is my first build ever. I understand alot and have overcome the problems that have occurred to me earlier but I really can't find a solution to this.

I've been waiting a good 20 minutes now again as I try to boot and I don't think I'll get anywhere.

Please guys, help me. I really want to use my new stuff!

EDIT:
I'd like to say that when i finally get in to desktop my keyboard and mouse are VERY unlikely to work. They work i bios however.

have you actually overclocked your CPU?

if so put it back to stock, set all your CPU settings in the UEFI to auto.

set your sata controller to AHCI and boot into safe mode.

once in safemode reboot into full windows.

The thing is that I haven't overclocked at all.

I will try what you said either way.

I'd also like to say that everything was on auto already.

ok well the overclocking failed error is a little troubling.

could be a hardware issue.
