That will be fine, but why not get a 4690k and a 970 4gb instead? Or a 4790k and 970 4gb.

Well 970 is 3,5gb and 500mb to waste or something so thats why and i go for i5 46-4790k

but the 970 is hugely faster than the 960 imo get the i5 and 970 in gaming the i5 will lose about 1-2 fps compared to the i7 so get the 970
