Hi,

I am having an issue with the audio on my computer, I've actually been experiencing the issue for almost a year but have never been able to understand why it happens...

When I play music or any file with audio using any software such as iTunes, Windows Media Player, Google Music (Flash), YouTube, Spotify, etc... The volume will just fluctuate throughout the song as in up and down, which can be annoying especially at night. I have already disabled the reduce volume setting for communications, but my volume goes up and down anyway. I can be listening to a song and the volume will go noticeably low then high then back to where I had it.

I have this issue with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, which leads me to think that its either the audio driver or the motherboard audio... I have used 3 different speaker systems and the issue persists.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M68M-S2P (Rev. 2.3)

Audio: I am using the onboard audio

Driver: Realtek 6.0.1.7458

All help appreciated!

Thanks,

Stórm.
